Terms & Conditions

Last updated 1 January 2026

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Belvera Studio website and the provision of our photography, videography, documentary and content creation services. Belvera Studio ("we", "us", "our") is a UK-based studio. By accessing this website, requesting a quotation, paying a deposit or engaging our services, you ("the client") agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they set out what you can expect from us and protect both parties.

Website usage terms

This website is owned and operated by Belvera Studio. By using it you agree to access it lawfully and not to: misuse the site or its content; attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or any connected systems; introduce malicious code; or copy, reproduce, scrape or redistribute any part of it without our prior written permission. We may update, change, suspend or remove content and features at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or free from errors.

Intellectual property ownership

All content on this website — including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, branding and design — is owned by Belvera Studio or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or use any of it without our prior written consent. Belvera Studio also retains copyright and ownership of all images, footage and edited deliverables produced as part of a commission, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Upon full payment, the client is granted a licence to use the delivered content for the purposes set out in the project proposal. Commercial use, resale, or usage beyond the agreed scope may require an additional licence.

Service availability

Our services are offered subject to availability and are primarily provided within the United Kingdom; projects elsewhere can be arranged by agreement and may incur travel and accommodation costs. Dates are reserved only once a deposit has been received. We reserve the right to decline, reschedule or withdraw from work at our discretion. Specialist equipment, cinema cameras, drones, additional crew and certain locations are subject to availability and may be hired in where required.

Booking process overview

1. Submit a bespoke quote request via our enquiry form. 2. We review your requirements and arrange a consultation if needed. 3. You receive a tailored quotation and project proposal. 4. Once approved, your booking is secured with a deposit. 5. Production begins on the agreed dates. Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a booking. A project is confirmed only once a quotation has been approved and a deposit received.

Quotations and pricing

All quotations are bespoke and based on the requirements provided, and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Pricing may vary depending on services, shoot days, locations, deliverables, equipment, editing requirements and usage rights, as set out on our Pricing page and in your proposal.

Deposits and payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and date. The remaining balance is due as set out in your project proposal, typically before final delivery. Payments are made via the methods stated on your invoice. Final deliverables may be withheld until payment is received in full, and late payment may delay delivery.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable as it secures your date and covers preparation. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested with reasonable notice; cancellations or changes made close to the shoot date may incur additional charges. In the unlikely event that we must cancel, we will give as much notice as possible and either refund payments made for undelivered work or arrange an alternative date.

Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate project information, ensuring necessary access and permissions for locations, and obtaining any required permits or consents (including from individuals appearing in the content). Delays or additional costs caused by inaccurate information or lack of access are the client’s responsibility.

Deliverables, revisions and timelines

Estimated delivery timelines are provided per project and begin once all required materials and approvals are received; timelines are estimates and may vary. A reasonable number of revisions is included as specified in your proposal — additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur further charges.

Travel and additional costs

Travel, accommodation, parking, location permits, studio hire, equipment rental, additional shoot days, rush delivery and any content beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges. These will always be discussed and approved before work begins.

Portfolio and promotional use

We may feature content produced for you in our portfolio, website and social media, unless you request otherwise in writing. The confidentiality of private or confidential projects will be respected where agreed.

Disclaimer of liability

This website and its content are provided on an "as is" basis for general information only, and we make no warranties as to their accuracy or completeness. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Belvera Studio accepts no liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or our services, and our total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. We will always perform our services with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including illness, equipment failure, extreme weather, travel disruption or other force majeure events. We will work with you to reschedule where possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
